Shutterstock updates the referral program for contributors, raising up the payouts per referral download from 0.03$ to 0.04$ cents.Contributors can refer other photographers and earning for each download from referred photographer 0.03$.It seems not too much but if you refer more photographers you have a good income.Now Shutterstock is raising this payout to 0.04$ per download, they are also going to update the term so payouts will be earned for the first two years that a referred contributor is active on the site.These changes will become effective as of February 28, 2013 and will affect contributors you have referred in the past, as well as those you refer in the future. There will be no changes to the footage referral program at this time, as Shutterstock announces.
